Movie Night at Lincoln Park all day

Join Willow Glen Community Center for Movie Nights at Lincoln Park on select Fridays until September 1st! This family fun event is free and open to the community! Movie will begin after sunset and popcorn and sodas are $1! The following movies will be showed:

August 4th - Beauty & the Beast

SV Pride & Parade 2017 all day

SV Pride presents the 2017 Silicon Valley Pride and Festival! Join the celebration for the 42nd anniversary. The festival kicks off on Saturday night and the celebrations rev up again on Sunday morning with the return of the parade down Market Street. After the Parade, enjoy headliner acts and entertainment.

All tickets are sold at the door.

Los Gatos Creek Clean Up from 8:45 am to 11:00 am

A creek runs through our neighborhoods.
Please help us take care of this precious resource.

This event is free and everyone is welcome. Join your neighbors, enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, and give back to the environment. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear and clothing. Trash bags, trash sticks and gloves will be provided.

Senior Scam Stopper from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Senator Bob Wieckowski, Assembly-member Evan Low, Santa Clara County Supervisor Ken Yeager, San Jose City Councilmember Dev Davis, and the Contractors State License Board invite you to attend a FREE Senior Scam Stopper seminar. Join us and learn how to protect yourself. Seniors, their families, and caregivers are welcome to attend this free seminar.

Comedy for Kids: Keep' em Lau at 5:30 pm

Buy tickets to the Youth Connection Foundation's 14th Annual "Comedy for Kids" fundraiser. All comedians are local and Marla Tellez will be the emcee again this year.

Assyrian Food Festival all day

Bring the whole family for the 25th Assyrian Food Festival: The Celebration Continues! The festival will feature tradition Assyrian food (real kabobs!); live music, dancing, and entertainment; a wine bar; the original Samovar Alley featuring exotic teas, coffee, and pastries; arts, crafts, and exhibits; vendors from all over the world; and a Kids' Zone, as well as raffle prizes! Free admission!

New Farmer's Market all day

Throughout the summer, PRNS is sponsoring a new Willow Glen Farmers Market at the Willow Glen Community Center parking lot, at 2175 Lincoln Avenue, corner of Curtner and Lincoln Avenues. Shoppers will find fresh produce and a variety of food and vendor booths while enjoying a live band a jump house.

Coyote Creek BioBlitz from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Join the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society for a BioBlitz in Coyote Valley! Coyote Creek is home to an abundance of plants, reptiles, mammals, birds, and bugs. This free, fun, family oriented event where people come together to explore the Valley, and document observations of all living things in a short period of time with the help of experts. Everyone over the age of 4 is welcome, and no experience is needed.

Free Plane Rides for Kids from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

The Young Eagle program is sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association, designed for young people ages 8 to 17.

The Young Eagles Rally provides young people with free 30 minute rides on small planes. Join the Young Eagles this Saturday, August 19th.
Flying will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m.

Juan Sanchez at 11:00 am

Let's play and sing together/iVamos a jugar y a cantar juntos! This interactive show will have children of all ages playing musical cooperative games from different cultures playing, dancing, clapping, giggling and singing to Juan's catchy multilingual tunes. It's a Musical Fiesta and everyone's invited! So bring your dancing shoes and don't forget your smiles!

    ? Every Wednesday from 6:00pm to 6:30pm
    Bring your whole family out to Bascom Branch Library to enjoy stories, songs, and movement activities that support early literacy development and help foster a love of books and reading. Sharing the wonders of books with the family helps increase children’s learning and reading skills and builds vocabulary. Aimed at children 0-7 and their parents or caregivers.
