Raised in the Sacramento area, Jennifer moved to San Jose to attend San Jose State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with an emphasis on local government. Jennifer has over five years of experience working for various elected officials within the City and County of Honolulu and the City of San Jose. She has worked on a variety of local policies ranging from public safety, education, transportation, and parks and recreation. She currently resides in East San Jose with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys watching sporting games, watching and re-watching as many Disney movies with her daughters, reading and trying out different restaurants. She is a current volunteer for local nonprofits emphasizing on literacy improvement with K-3rd grade students, youth, and women empowerment.
